I actually wish I had this ability when I moved to NYC. As good as the pizza is here, there is a pizza place in Lawrence, MA that I grew up with that is, to this day, still the best pizza I've ever had, and it's the pizza served at
Tripoli Bakery. Square pies with thin crusts, super sweet sauce, and light cheese. Never had anything like it anywhere else. You can find Tripoli pizza at a few random places (Salisbury Beach, MA is the only one I've seen, but I heard there are others), but there's nothing like the original. Check it out here to see what I mean:

Now, if I had to move away from NYC, I would take with me my favorite restaurant,
Don Giovanni's. A somewhat unknown Italian restaurant, though for the life of me I couldn't tell you why. Located right off the theater district, it's in a prime location for a shitload of traffic, but to this day, every time I've gone, I've never had to wait, and the service has been supremely good. But the food is even better. Huge portions of absolutely UNBELIEVABLE Italian food. They also have a gigantic brick oven for extremely tasty pizzas, and the best part is that all of this is relatively cheap compared to other NYC eateries. I take everyone who visits me to Don Gio's, and they all agree that it completely kicks ass.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
