I have two jobs. One that I love, and one that I haven't started yet.
The first one is working at Apple's flagship retail store on 5th Ave here in NYC. I wasn't too thrilled about the idea of working retail again, but this has turned into easily one of the best non-film jobs I've ever held. The people there are all incredibly nice and cool, the management is nice (though HR completely fucked up this past week with us newcomers, mostly me), and it's just a fun job. The customers who come in are always in a good mood, looking to buy something Apple-related, and it's my job to give them a good experience. It's not about how much you sell, it's about how satisfied the customer is. That alone makes it a far less stressful job.
The other job starts on Wednesday, and it is the reason I moved out here - Editing! Film editing, that is. Final Cut Pro non-linear editing, to be precise. This is exactly why I left NH, and I could not be in a better position with this job. It pays absolutely retarded amounts of money, my hours are flexible, and I'm doing what I love. As soon as this job picks up steam, I will cut back my hours at Apple, but for now, it's a slow start.
I couldn't be happier with my position in the workforce, honestly. I really really lucked out with both jobs, both in terms of getting them, and the fact that they're both such excellent jobs.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
