Near-death experiences
How close have you ever come to dying?
I came pretty damn close today. On my way out of Best Buy, I get the green light to take a left out of the plaza, so I start driving. Suddenly a TRACTOR TRAILER blows through his red light, and I slam on the brakes. Luckily I was far enough away to where I wasn't too close to him but had I done my usual "green = go" and pulled out at my usual speed, I (or at the very least my car) could have been done for. Jam it back in, in the dark.
