Traumatizing Videogame experience?

A few NES games threw me for a whirl when I was a kid. Whenever I died in Zelda 2 and saw Ganon's freaky silhouette and his evil laugh, I would get creeped out. Gave me good incentive not to die.

Also, for some reason, at the very end of Snake's Revenge, I seem to remember a bomb being about to go off, and if the timer went off, the whole base exploded or something. That never sat well with me either.

More recently, Silent Hill 1 and 2 gave me nightmares for a days. I couldn't sleep soundly after playing those 2 titles. I cannot wait for the movie!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Forgot about this one. When the military first appears in the game. You think they're coming to help you, then when you first see a soldier and he starts SHOOTING AT YOU, I had to pause the game and settle for a few minutes. Amazing storytelling in this game, and that's my favorite example.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
