You must be referring to the Task Force missions. Those definitely go on for quite awhile.
But I must ask, why would you want to play an MMO if you're just going to solo? I used to do this too, but now that I think about it, it just doesn't make sense. You pay a monthly fee to connect to a server filled with other people and play a game that is designed to be a
multiplayer game. If grouping and questing is not your thing, then I hardly think an MMO is the sort of genre you should be looking into.
Oh, and I recommend giving
Progress Quest a shot.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
