Hell, I've just been playing The Warriors and I'm surprised at just how good it is. There haven't been too many brawlers recently (and I've heard the new Final Fight isn't so hot) so it's nice to see that a game company was able to do a modern take on the genre. It's definitely not Streets of Rage, but at least it knows it's a video game...based on a movie.
Side note: This week I rented The Warriors for PS2 and Doom: The Movie. Consider that for a moment. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
