Personally, your method is weak.

Here's how to PERFECTLY copy and play backups of games.

Copying a GC game

Needed:
a modchip (I use the QOOB Pro)
a broadband adapter
a gamecube (obviously)
an ethernet cord
a router (it can be done w/o one, but it's much more difficult)
a program called NGCDEV

Initial setup:
Mod gamecube
plug in broadband adapter, then connect it to the router.
Have at least 1.5GB space on your computer per game you're copying

With your modded gamecube, load up NGCDEV into the chip's memory. Startup your cube and load the program. Load up the game you want to copy and follow the instructions.

WHen you get a HTTP address, load that into INTERNET EXPLORER. Firefox, Maxthon, and other browsers DO NOT WORK. You'll be prompted to save a file. Do so. Wait about 15 minutes and you'll have and ISO.

Burning a GC ISO

Load up Nero, close out of the intial prompt box. Choose recording -> burn image. Find your ISO. Burn it to a DVD+R (if you use a full size DVD+R, you'll either need to take the case off, or have the special larger case tops.

Unlike the PSO exploit, using this method to play games works beautifully.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Better that than a setup with a 1% compatibility rate.

And a bigger threat to ruining your warranty? Uh buddy, your warranty is void if you crack open a system.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

cant you just burn the gmes onto mini dvds then play them? ( with a modded GC )
The problem is you can't read a Gamecube game in a computer. However if you have an ISO from the web, you can burn that with Nero. And if you use miniDVDs, you just need to have a modchip installed in the system. Fullsize DVDs you'll need a different case top (You can get these from www.jandaman.com )

As for copying a game that you own, follow the method I posted earlier in this thread.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
