Do you know your neighbours?

So, I've been living in many different areas, and I've had both experiences. When we lived in Calgary, our neighbours were family friends, we'd always have huge ass block parties and stuff, it was alot of fun, but when we moved to Dubai - we didn't know our neighbours at all - only saw them once or twice when we were both outside at the same time (or the time when they tried to kick one of our dogs - I put the fear of god into one of our neighbours (oh how fun it is when you're pissed off at someone, and double thier weight, and have an extra couple feet of height on them).

Anyways, We moved around a couple of times in Dubai, and only really knew our neighbours when we were living on the *outskirts* of the city, in a compound - and then we only knew the kids on one side of us.

Now that I'm in College - I didn't really socialize too much with my nieghbours in residence (us aviation students stuck together), but when we moved in the spring of '04, we met the neighbours to which our new townhouse shared walls. And since moving into an apartment almost a year ago - we still havn't met our neighbours.

So, does GFF know thier neighbours?

I've seen my neighbours too - hard not to when you live in an apartment, we've just never actually met, just usually walking past thier door to ours, or to the elevator.
