What would your family do if you told them you were doing drugs?
Anything more then weed and they'd be concerned, but as for weed? Well, my mom and I shared a doob awhile ago, so I think its a non issue.

Mom: "Let me know when you're smoking one next time, and I'll come join you"
Dad: Long lecture about how drugs are bad mmkay.
Sister: "Can I buy some off you?"
Dad's side of family: disowned
Mom's side of family: hooked me up when I was in BC :P

If you told them you were going to marry some one of another race?
Already done it - no problems.

Mom: Meh
Dad: Meh
Sister: Meh
Mom's side: Meh
Dad's side: Meh

What would they do if you told them you were gay?
Probably ask me if I was sure, and then deal with it.. My grandmother would flip out though.

Mom: Support me
Dad: Would take some time to deal with it himself, and then support me
Sister: Wouldn't believe me

That you decided not to go to college, even though you have the grades and money to go?
Probably be OK with it, but only if I had a damned good reason - and I can't think of anything right now that would be a good enough reason.

Mom: Pissed
Dad: Pissed
Sister: Confused
Both sides of the extended family would be pissed too.

That you were going to change your religion to one your family has never followed?
Just told them, and they're not too concerned - it's my life.

Mom: Meh, as long as I don't become some extremist
Dad: Same as above
Sister: Meh
Dad's family: I don't really know - but I don't think it'll go over well.
Mom's family: Meh

What would your family do if you said you had killed a person and needed help hiding from the police?
Probably help me out if they could - but would probably ask me to turn myself in.

Mom: Would probably try to protect me and help me hide
Dad: Would be the strong "turn yourslef in" voice
Sister: Flip out
