Loved the Pekka Pohjola record, niki.
I'm gonna be putting up a lot of stuff through the weekend. Some more eclectic posts. Keep an eye out for some live Grateful Dead, some post-rock, a few interesting compilations and a handful of other stuff. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Just posted a mixer of sundry records, more to come tomorrow.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Also, I recommend everyone grabs the record Arkh uploaded just now. Good stuff. How ya doing, buddy? |
Put up a whole schlock of other stuff from Tzadik records again, this time with more Zorn. Enjoy!

To be honest, I'm not sure of the difference between noise and ambient noise really, but I probably have some of it.
How ya doing, buddy? |
See, I thought of posting Nurse With Wound but figured it was too much "just noise".
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
So I finally got around to listening to that Amy Winehouse album, Ence, and I gotta say, it's a lot better than I was expecting it to be. That's a quality record.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Just uploaded five albums that pretty much have something for everyone in them.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Why don't you just copy and paste your journal entries into the exposure thread, Guru? A few more people would see them then.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
If you're going to buy the records, the best way is probably a the Fruit Tree boxset, which has all three albums plus an outtakes record and a pretty interesting booklet and can be found secondhand for about $35, which is almost cheaper than buying the three albums by themselves.

![]() If you're stuck with CDs the remasters probably are the way to go then. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
He had something like a terabyte of bandwidth so I doubt we overused it. Maybe they finally wised up that it was a huge orgy of illegal goodness? I hope not...
That would just suck. FELIPE NO |
I really do think that everyone should listen to the album that Remy_Fortin6 just uploaded, as it is an absolute classic and fully deserves the exposure, but to be totally honest the rip he uploaded is a really poor quality .wma thing that doesn't do justice to the recordings. I'll have a better quality .mp3 rip of the same album up sometime this evening.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I have the entire Anal Cunt discography. Great stuff.
How ya doing, buddy? |
http : / / 67.55.54.146/bkup/NAME OF THE FILE YOU WANT
will almost always get you a file from the old thread. Just use Artist - Album format and throw a .zip or .rar at the end at it will probably show right up. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I haven't listened to any new music in a month or two. Will catch up in December, hopefully.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I had a whole day with nothing to do at all. I couldn't help myself.

I love the title track off the new disc as a single but I can't say I'm feeling the album in its entirety.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Yeah, sorry about that. Moon's server folded right after that post. I reupped a few of them. Give a shout if you want one of the other ones.

I hate to say it, but everything in this last upload gets filed with Arcade Fire in the "Overplayed to Hell" folder for people who live in Canada. This stuff has been playing in the same rotations as Rihanna and Fall Out Boy for about four years now up here. :/

I have a request. If you guys remember way back, my very first post in the oldest M.E.C. thread was an album called "Parrots On Fire (And Other Signs Of Hope)" by a band called the Algy Krebbs Quartet. I realize that I upped this a looooooooong time ago, and that no one may have a copy, but if anyone actually DOES have this floating around, an upload would be hugely appreciated, as I can't seem to find mine anymore.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
In addition to Dull's post, I've incidentally also uploaded the first six Bee Gees albums in their entirety after the interest shown in the SAUS thread. I'm putting them up in my journal if anyone's interested in going a bit further into this.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
