GeForce Go 6200 + Gaming = Good to Go?

AOE3 or CS Source should be okay... not great and not good, just ok. I would imagine that you could play Source with no bloom or HDR, no AA, no AF, low shaders, at 1024x768 or 800x600 depending on the framerates you want.

AOE3 will probably do just fine as that is made to run ok on integrated graphics which are a piece compared to any video card.

So, to answer you're question, a 6200 Go is a passable or ok choice for a budget gamer. Laptop gaming is hard to get at good framerates anyway, so just don't expect miracles. I've got a MacBookPro with a x1600 256MB and it runs Source at 1440x900 with bloom and high settings with no AA and 4xAF. I get about 30fps that way. So even the best laptops arent that great with games.

You are correct. MacBooks are not good for gaming. MacBook PROS however are because they have great hardware for gaming (Intel Core Duo @ 2Ghz, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 256MB X1600). If you didnt notice, it plays Source games excellently.

Did you even read my post. I said that a Geforce6200 Go would be ok/passable at playing CS:S and fairly good with AOE3. I never said it would "suck". Although I would highly recommend a 6600 Go over a 6200 anyday. It also depends on how you like to play your games. I like to play at the native resolution of my display (on my MacBook that is 1440x900) which makes things look alot cleaner. Notice, I stated that I believe that will not be possible for the OP with CS:Source and a 6200 GO laptop. If the laptop has any resolution higher than 1024x768, he will not be able to play at native resolution. That to me is ok/passable quality.

And lastly I was comparatively giving him information on what my laptop can do with Source so that he can better see what kind of performance he can expect from a 6200 Go, being that a 6200Go is a step down from the medium to low budget card bracket, and a generation older.

Being in a tablet shouldn't affect it at all. And yes, a 6200Go will be MUCH better than a Xpress200m. You will actually have a framerate .
