This song is a "situation piece" about a man waiting for his lover to wake up at her bedside in a hospital, imagining what it'll be like when she wakes. There's a lot of great imagery in the song's lyrics, but my favorite lines are these:

"I'll be ready on that evening, when you're starved for my attention,
And you'll say, 'Wake now, sweet prince, there's a brilliant sky above,
And a jealous moon in love, and they are starved for our attention'."

Right after those lines, at about 2:45, for the first time in the song, the big rock guitars come in and I just get chills every time I listen to that part. I don't know if it's the poignancy of the situation, the passionate delivery, or the imagery of the lyrics, but this song kills me.

How about you?
LOL

I just about freaked out when I saw this as the first post of the thread. That is my favorite Copeland song, and I am a huge Copeland fan. Ran around here with a Copeland Ava-Sig combo for quite a while when "In Motion" came out. Been to 3 Copeland concerts, own all 3 of their discs.

I couldn't agree more.

Most emotional song for me... It's got to be the song "Wedding Dress" by Derek Webb. It's the most emotional song for me 'cause I live it about each day. Yah, it is about my beliefs in Christ, but more importantly, its about my role and what I do. The song is about the deepest kinds of betrayal, and about forsaken love. Pretty strong stuff. The lyrics are so bold, and about as shocking and harsh as an Eminem song.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Awwww, the hell with it I need to add a few more. Sarah McLaughlin's "Angel" (because of a certain someone who used to sing that), Coldplay's "The Scientist", (from Wicker Park), Hans Zimmer's "Elysium" (from the Gladiator ST), Plumb's "Cut" (because it is sooo emotionally strong).

The song I mentioned previously as my most emotional, yeah scratch that. It's up there but this one takes the cake sooooo much I have to post a link....

There's nowhere I can't reach.
