I've recently got a psp and I was wondering where are some places with good deal for a memory sticks because without it its nothing more than a miniature ps2 with no special features :/

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I had ignorantly upgraded the psp software to 3.03 not knowing that all the cool stuff was in the older software ~_~
Saw some videos of FFVIII on psp, I seriously need to try that when I get my hands on a 4gb stick....and older psp firmware

How ya doing, buddy?

oh well that sounds like total Bull =D
My sister has a psp that has 2.60, is there a way to downgrade it to 1.50 safely or maybe the 3.03a I've just heard about.
A link to the right site would be nice o-0

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

yeah that bricking scares the crap out of me but Ill see if I take the risk.
Does that usually occur with bad downgrading or just some defected firmware or possibly randomly happens?

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I read through the forums of that site and went thoroughly through the tutorials but when I check inside my UMD drive I dont see any numbers to see if it has TA-082.
I also didn't see anything of that xloader thing

I was speaking idiomatically.

yeah i was ready the hell out of the max console forums so that I could be sure that I was doing the right thing.
Every time someone asked about their motherboard someone would post that picture but I know i don't have the ta082 one because my numbers aren't on that side like I mentioned before. My other psp is a ta082 but sadly enough I updated it to 3.03 because I thought if I formated the memory stick it would go back to its previous version then I found out that it was saved in some sort of internal memory of the psp ~_~

I was able to to go from 2.60 > 2.71 > 1.50 > 3.03oa > 3.03ob
I was nervous as hell seeing that it wasn't my psp so I wouldn't feel like replacing it but it all went well.
I even converter FFVIII in an eboot file with the popstationGUI and it supplied everything for and easy conversion, even transferring the game into the psp.
The game plays awesome from the intro and thats all I really played. I heard there was a glitch when entering the world map but that its nothing big. Its final fantasy on the psp so what do I care ^_^

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

So I'm used to putting in the firmware for the fat psp but I just got a Slim White Psp with 3.71.
I heard you have to do some pandora crap with a battery from a fat psp or whatever ><!
Is there any link with these instructions? is it as easy to put in the custom firmware as it is in the fat psp?

EDIT: I don't suppose theres a way to do this without the damn battery? And if I do use a fat psp battery, will I be able to restore it to be usable in the fat psp again?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I actually like the new slick and room saving design. I don't know about everyone else, but any actualy copies of UMD's that I do own are scattered like fucking crazy since I don't keep track of smaller items. Its like browsing through mini-cassettes. They pretty much felt outdated the moment I got them.
And WTF is this about not supporting Sony Duo's. It's fucking Sony, you'd presume they'd support they're own fucking products and carry on what the original PSP could do. They better put Sony memory stick support on the damn thing or I'm ganna wait until they come out with PSP-GO 2000.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
