yeah i also kinda thought thought that it was a cheap way to start off the series.

with luluoche (not spelled right huh ~_~) having lost his memories. how many times have you not seen this happen to the main character. Also, it seemed as tho it recreated a few scenes from the first episode of the first season when he first got the geass. It sorta reminded me of how shakugan no shena second started off by recreating the first season but I don't think it'll be that bad, shana really dissapointed me ;_;.
I was actually confused in the start of the episode so I wikapedia'd the episode list to see if I missed anything.
It was a bit of a slow start but I feel like it's going to get much better. I have to admit, when he got his memory back at the end I just thought "The king is back! =0"

episode 8 was amazing. It doesn't surprise me how surprising lulouches plans are.....because they are surprising and then of course I'd be surprised...

I don't feel like season 2 has lost its touch at all. Episode 10 did bore me a little but thats because I usually like zero's plans work out and reach an awesome climax. Although it was nice to see him struggle for once and see him get caught in someone's trap, now he just going to have to work harder for it.
And what can you really expect from the character development, this is season 2 of course. Most of the characters are from season 1 and have already been introduced and thus they still share the same type of relationship with each other or have the same hate toward zero at this point its just a matter of who zero tries to screw over and how they want to get him back. And plus Xing-ke had some backstory told, doesn't that count o-0

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I kinda think the roles will be switched for a small while and suzaku will be the bad guy and luluoche the good duy (well for luluoche he can be bad or good on your point of view) since it looks like suzaku is on a verge of a breakdown. and Who knows, we only saw a small scene with him and jeremaih so maybe his geass was cancelled.
I kinda like the fact that zero is hiding the truth with his evil outlook but it's not paying off for him at all.
Rolo finally gone =0 with sappy music. He was put in a position where he was way to naive but I guess it payed off for zero at the end. Way I see it towards the end is zero dies, and suzaku carries on his memory somehow and then after that maybe a movie/ova becuase I just don't see a season 3 happening at this point.

Also agree with sakabadger, LOL NINA you dumb horny lesbian fool. wtf did she think the weapon was for, a sprinkled pinata of peace?
Oh and how messed up would it be that jeremiah finds nanully by some strange coincidence and zero is already dead at the end of the series =p

omg tell me about it, I couldn't stop laughing. It seemed as though he made his appearance in front of suzaku but then it turns out he's in the middle of a fucking forest. Way to feed the ego.
Things moved a little too fast during this ep, one minute suzaku is speaking to the prince, then he suddenly pops up in front of the king.

The zero requiem was one of my guesses in which why lulouche was acting the way he did but the ending itself was superb. I honestly hope they don't bring about an ova or movie explaining how he survived because he took all the worlds hate into himself and took it with him in death and that was an ending worth remembering. Cheapening it into something like a miraculous recovery or bringing back to life with some sorta geass would make it seem like FFX-2 which ruined the ending for the first part.

but bringing people back to life is just a cheap way so i like to believe it ended the way it did. If they decided on some extra episodes I can only imagine it would be someone who actually got corrupted with some geass and tries to follow luluoche's footsteps in trying to take over the world and many people will die such as C.C, Xian Xe and tougu as to just finish off the series for good.
