Haste + Berserk makes the bar goes 3 times faster, on top of the already 30% hastened speed of the swiftness augmentations.

Freelance Wolf: my guys are lacking in the damage department. They do about 150-200 to the skeletons, and surprising Fran can consistently hit over 200 damage with her killer bow. This isn't as nice as your 400 dmg, but I guess my added HP should help a bit.

With my current stats, you think it's possible for me to take down that Nidhogg hunt in Lhusu mines? I hear that one's much harder than the Cluckertrice hunt.
nidhog? is that the pet of the moogle.
I was almost able to beat it with a few good quickening combos but I got furstrated and quit. Before I wen't any further to archadia I finally dicided to go back to do a few hunts and owned nidhog with no problems. You should problably wait till ur in the late 20's to beat it.
I still got alot of hunts to finish up since I basicly skipped so many. I probably have like 10 waiting for me on the boards

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

no the hunts will always be there as far as I know. As I said before, there were a few hunts that I couldn't do so left them alone for a VERY long time. I just got back to them and I found that the board is full of new hunts and i still got 2 more I need to finish in my clan preimer.

Even at my level I still fear those elementals. First time I saw a huge fire ball just floating there I thought I could take it but you either need incredibly strong magic or a very high quickening combo. And when I mean high, I mean you better be prepared with that trigger finger.
I still hold the r2 button whenever I come near those, atleast they're slow.

I know this sounds silly, but when I put on some heavy armour and a helm for Vaan, he looks exactly the same as if he were to start out with the simpliest of armour (correct me if I'm wrong). I haven't noticed if the weapons look different. I'm sure in FFVIII, you could tell the different weapons, for example Squall's Lionheart looked MUCH different than the regular gunblade, or as with FFX, Tidus ultimate weapon looked massive, as compared to the default Brotherhood blade.

Of course it's with the limitations of the technology of the PS2, but I think it'd be sweet to have this. Metal Gear Solid 3 did this quite well with Snakes' constant change in camouflauge, but then I don't think the engine have to do so much processing power, as the NPCs and enemies were far fewer in any given screen/stage. Just my 2 cents.

Hopefully we might see this in FFXIII, but I have my reservations. Just a thing that I'd like future gen RPGs to adopt.

this is why i liked legend of lagaia for the psx. Every weapon and armor you put on them were visible when you were in battle and it actually looked really good on them.

and about the score thing, even though alot of people hold this game with high regards I say story 7, gameplay 6, and overall 6. I just play it cause its final fantasy =P

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

when do you get to pick which character it goes to?
you should automaticly be able to go to your liscenece board and choose it for anyone. Just look around the board, i think around the right edge.

Which are the treasure chest which aren't suppose to be opened? Its bull that you have to basicly "know" not to open them.

Archadia had a mini game which I think was more enjoyable than the rest
Spoiler:
you have to communicate with the towns people and help them out with their problems in order to get what you want. I think if this was more extended through out more of the game then maybe it would have felt like the towns people were of more importance instead of just being there with worthless information. I just skip through most of them.

I'm going at a slow pace too. I'm guessing he was busy with leveling and the hunts. I'm actually taking a short intermission from going any further in archadia since I wanna finish off some hunts in the board. So far I have around 50 hours and 300,000 steps

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I am still a bit worried that three out of my six characters are heavily underleveled, my three main characters are all level 35 or 36, and they are level 14, 15. Oh well, I hope I will find some time to level them up as well.
If you've always only needed 3 characters then thats cool. My characters are just about even but i always need all three when facing a boss cause I need backup especially when i fought the third esper, which I happened to find by chance.

this next spoiler doesn't really spoil the story just the order of some areas. Its just a tip if you plan on leveling ur characters.
Spoiler:

if you do plan on leveling them up then just wait until you reach the tichen uplands and plow through until you reach archadia, you can buy tippet's there for 5000gil which doubles your exp, so you can either train your weaker characters or give your main three an even stronger boost.
when you get that just go back to the uplands and start training, theres also an areas with serpents which drop quality hides almost all the time which you can sell for around 400gil. I've gatta warn you though, archadia is a long road ahead

Oh and btw, the tippet only works with the party thats actually in battle

How ya doing, buddy?

I've been getting less motivated to play this.
So Far I stopped in the front gates of archadia to finish off some hunts and clear my list from those things. I feel if I finish the hunts I'll be far more prepared for the story portion. The hunts are actually alot harder than the actually bosses from the story given a few exeptions (the summons).

Last time I posted I was still in archadia and here I am again, still in archadia trying to finish off hunts. I haven't hardly played the game from the lack of motivation. I honestly don't care when i finish it off.

Yeah the intro the I think the second cg where they are escaping are probably the only good action sequences in the game. Haven't seen the ending yet but I'm sure theres something to behold there.
