Technically, the ideal response would have been to press charges against that woman for assault. I'm guessing the police wouldn't have really given much of a shit about it in real life, though. So it's easier to take justice into your own hands, probably. What you did seems pretty fair. I don't think men should feel it's more violent to hit a woman than another man, anyway. That seems pretty condescending towards women, who are incredibly tough if you think about it. I mean, they torture themselves just to wear cute shoes, babies come tearing out of their vaginas, and so forth. They can take a punch.

This would have been a great situation for a taser. Personally, I would have probably tried to rip the bitch's hair out.
