Real-Time Strategy: StarCraft, definitely. This is the first game I ever played online and I'm still playing it occasionally. It's amazing how they managed to make all three races so different, yet so balanced.
First-Person Shooter: Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I've yet to come across an FPS as good as / better than RtCW. Okay, the singleplayer was rather disappointing, but the multiplayer... Whoah. It's about playing as a team, but having a decent aim won't hurt either. I've had a lot of great moments with this game. Adventure: Monkey Island's, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max, Grim Fandango... Can't pick my favorite. They're all so damn good. And of course the before-mentioned Incredible Machine! Thank you for mentioning it, didn't even remember this game existed! ![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
