In Minnesota we've got a sort of democratic radiostation called 89.3 The Current, which plays all sorts of eclectic music. They have a hip-hop couple of hours on saturday nights for highlighting local hip-hop groups and rising rap/hip-hop artists. They play a lot of foreign music and generally a lot of indie stuff. It's a really nice thing to have, albiet I don't listen to it often, it's usually a treat to listen to. And I don't think I've heard anything repeated on it yet.
I will stick to a certain genre sometimes like electronica stuff, and not listen to much else. Then I'll get sick of all the loops in electronic music and want something else to touch my senses, so I'll maybe go to some VGM (if there's something I like that I haven't listened to a lot.) I'm always jumping around with what I'm listening to on my playlist. I like to have my winamp arranged so that all of my music is loaded at all times so I can access whatever, whenever.
Not often will I listen to one track over and over, but it does happen occasionally. I listened to FFXI's "Gustaberg" so many times! What a good track. The FFX OST really treated me well, on the matter of FF OST's...
I can listen to Venetian Snares for like... a half hour at tops. =D Twitch 'n Glitch
Jam it back in, in the dark.
