Help with "Generic Host Process for Win32" error

I'm having a little from.
From time to time I'm getting an error message about "Generic Host Process for Win32" (Using WinXP Home Edition)"

I also get this error report:

After each time I've gotten this message it seems as if I loose my audio sound.
Every time I try to play an audio file after this message, using WinAmp 5.05 I get this message:

Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration.
Error code: 88780078

Well, I did a make a phone call to one computer store in town.
They said that they were familiar with the "Generic Host Process" error message and suggested I would install Service Pack 2 för WinXP.
Well, now that's done.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I updated to Service Pack 2 and the I don't get the message anymore.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
