I saw the Profi Pipe Cleaner gadget on a shop at home channel and bought it on eBay for cheaper and it has worked well for me. It seems out of stock on QVC atm, but here's a picture of it. I'm not sure exactly how it works, you pump it up and then blast the compressed air down the drain forcing whatever is clogged to go out. I don't care how it works as long as it gets the job done.
