Yeah, that's all my spoiler said.

I finally picked up the game and LE guide today. I had to go to a second GameStop to get the Balthier cover because the GameStop I had the CE reserved at only had three LE guides (Basch, Penelo, and Vaan). The guy looked at me funny and tried to tell me that no one can tell what cover they're getting because the guide is shrink wrapped so tightly. How I'd love to show him my Balthier guide. (I managed to get my discount at the second GameStop when I showed the cashier my receipt, so yay!)

I haven't gotten very far, though. I'm only about 2 and a half hours in and I'm considering waking up early tomorrow to play it. The pseudo-Gambits suck. I can't wait until I get the real ones to play around with.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

There are four treasure chests in the game that you can't open or else the Zodiac Spear disappears from its chest in the Necrohol.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

+150 attack and that's all it does.

When you first get to Salikawood, if you have done everything correct (not opening 3 specific chests, the 4th being in an area you haven't visited) you will have access to the Necrohol of Nabudis. The monsters here will kill you in one or two hits, but luckily they are pretty slow. If you just "flee" the entire time, you can run through the area straight to the chest that contains the Zodiac Spear and then run away again. If you have been using Golden Amulets, getting the 235 LP needed to use the weapon shouldn't be too hard. My Vaan went from 1000 hp damage per hit to 3000-4000 damage and twice as much when berserk. Should help with all extra Espers and hunts at this point. If you are spending a lot time leveling up before this point, just skip it and try to get to Salikawood ASAP because the weapon will change more than grinding levels will.

It is choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend it
I kept trying but the monsters kept killing me despite my constant hold on R2. I gave up after the fourth or fifth attempt.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Actually, there's technically no limit so long as you get the buttons pressed within the time limit. I've gotten a 21-hit combo before. All you pretty much have to do is press the buttons before time ends, and if there's no buttons to press, you press R2 until there's something to press. Mist Charge gives that character some Mist carts back so you can do another attack with them (so it's usually best to press that button twice).

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Oh and how high should I level myself up so I don't need to worry until the end of the (storybased) game anymore? Between 60 and 70?
There's not really much you can do with Gambit strategies. I mean, just make the AI do what you normally would.

The only technicks I use are Charge and Telekinesis. Everything else is pretty much useless.

I've heard that the final boss is a decent challenge at around level 50, so I guess if you want to obliterate the final boss easily then you should be beyond level 60.

The Site 11 Key unlocks a pretty high-leveled part of the Lhusu Mines. I'm level 59 and I had a pretty hard time getting to Site 7 to complete a mob hunt. There were level 57+ mobs in that area of the mines.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

You can buy Bubble at Clan Centurio's clan shop in the Mithru Bazaar once you attain a certain rank. I can't remember what it is off the top of my head, though. Paragon of Justice?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

There's a possibility that the treasure chest has a certain chance of appearing every time you enter the Great Crystal. Why not try zoning in and out of the Great Crystal and see if it appears? I had to do that to get the Demonsbane sword in King Raithwall's Tomb. It was quite annoying to run to the secret passage, find no chest (or the chest that was there had some other kind of treasure), and then run all the way back to the Way Stone to teleport out in order to teleport back in to reset the chests in the tomb.

I can understand not using gambits if you're playing the game on Wait Mode, but gambits are pretty much the key to surviving in Active Mode.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
