I started a group, so people who sign up for the trial can join it if they want. It doesn't look like I have any power to add arbitrary people to the group; you have to click "Join" yourself and then I approve you.

I messed up the GFF URL, though.

The game does have a port to another system, actually. However, I expect it's more likely that you know the track from a completely different game that also uses the track rather than from the port.

I also wonder if anyone's tried answering with the completely different game. =O

Regarding your question, the latter is true; we basically just sit back and wait for the guy to update the site with new tracks. Sometimes it takes a while.

There's also a new stat box on the right side of the page that shows the number of tracks, players, and guesses.

The highest valued ones I have are four 7-pointers: numbers 12, 50, 81, and 86. I swear #81 was worth 8 points when I answered it, though.

The least popular track I've guessed correctly is... #86! =O

I wish I knew who the composer to that game was, because the soundtrack is awesome.

#72 is the only other track I've guessed correctly that less than 20 people total have gotten.

Like Drakken, I've got no clue on 289 and 291. 291 seems very slightly familiar, but nowhere near familiar enough to place it.

I totally know 290, but I gotta go rooting for it.

292 is awesome. I think I know why Drakken got it, but the version I'm thinking he's thinking of is actually from the sequel (compare the synths).

It's had a complete revamp: instead of getting a full list of every single song, you get one chosen at random and have to either guess on it or skip it in order to get the next one. Honestly, I like the old way a lot better because I'd often come up with what game the track came from after I already moved onto something else. Now in order to go back, you have to clear the list of skipped songs and then keep randomly picking them until you get the right one.

The song database has been reset as well; there were around 10 or so when I just ran through them quickly just now. I'm pretty sure one of them was also in the first version of VGMQ, but the others weren't. Your old VGMQ score is in your profile, though.

Yeah, that was a nice song update. I got five of them, and the other three rank from vaguely familiar to man I totally know this one.

I like that the answer list is back. I have a couple answers pending, and I noticed that it shows my answers and the official answers for those also. Did it always do that? I thought that, in the previous quiz, it wouldn't show the answer until it was actually graded.

The skip-to-track feature is also nice. I've already used it once.

Yeah, someone needs to get around and grade my pending answer correct. (the theme is totally in that game too)

I thought about signing up to do tracks but I'd probably just end up doing one batch and never getting around to another one.
