WE BE NEEDING SOME NOMINATIONS :|

Also, since the domain switch, new server, etc., Gamingforce has been significantly more stable than it was in the past. The multiple forum system of SotW was designed so that, if GFF went down, SotW would continue uninterrupted, but GFF hasn't gone down in forever. Pretty much the only people who vote at STC now are me and DC72, with the occasional person voting every now and then if there's a track they really want to support for some reason.

What say people to reining it in and returning to a unified SotW at GFF? If disaster strikes, we could always jaunt back over for a spell, but right now the neglected threads at STC just look too much like forum spam to me, and if they're going to be disregarded, I don't see why I should continue cluttering up the thread list.

I just remembered how the SotW site used to quote people commenting on the winning track. It definitely adds some flavor to the list of downloads. How about bringing that tradition back? :-)
Not a terrible idea at all. We had a short initiative to fill in blank descriptions a very long time ago, but it petered out pretty quickly. Since the domain switched toasted the archive forum, we won't be able to fill in a bunch of descriptions for tracks in the 20-50 range or whatever's missing, but we can certainly get stuff up for every week after. Would anyone be willing to go through old voting threads, pick the best comments for the first place tracks, and contact the commenters for permission to put them on the site?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

There's an audio deformation at 1:41 of "Mars Landing"; could we get a fixed copy if it places?
Why wait? I have uploaded a fixed copy right now, so get it while it's piping hot if you like your music without audio skips and higher bitrates.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Nom nom:

Artist: ZTS
Track Title: Quiet Voice -conditional duty-
Album: iXion
Track No.: 08
Catalog No.: ZTSL-010
Year: 2004
Info: Arrangement from a game called "天使のいない12月"
Source: ixion
DLink: Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!
Referencing this discussion from Week 115, ZTS's official game compositions are: Parhelia (half the soundtrack, or 8 tracks), Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (4 tracks), and DJMAX Portable 2 (2 tracks). Pointing this out before the track goes to vote this time so that anyone who objects to ZTS's status as a VGM composer can actually, well, object.

Also, how about running both Week 121 and Battle 15 together, to make up for lost time?
Anyone else up for this? I'm game.

And now that GFF is back, we can tally the non-STC votes for Week 119, determine true winners and finally get some updates on the site.
Voting and nominations are closed!

1). [29] R - Racing Evolution (Game Rip) - Mars Landing
2). [21] Wiz 'n' Liz The Frantic Wabbit Wescue (Sega Genesis Game Rip) - Name Entry
3). [16] Gran Chaser - KNIGHT GEAR
4). [14] Twisted Metal 2 (PlayStation Game Rip) - Holland [Field of Screams]
5). [12] Space Quest III - The Pirates of Pestulon (PC Game Rip) - Closing Medley
6). [9] Hook (SNES Game Rip) - Neverland Tundra
7). [8] Grim Grimoire Soundtrack CD - BOOK OF DAYS
8). [5] beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK - in the Sky

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
