The older people (up to grandparent age) at my work are fine with e-mail, it just depends on the person.
Frankly, to do effective communication, learn what method works with the individual person and stick to it. Some people love e-mail. Others you will only get ahold of by phone or face-to-face. Indulge them. Leave a sticky note on their desk if you have to. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
