What's the point in deleting posts in the first place if they're just going to be replaced with massive MIND THE GAP PLEASE signs that are twice as obnoxious as the original spam in the first place?
Or maybe it's a big community binding exercise in guessing what the offending posts included. Why not bring the deleted posts forum back? How ya doing, buddy? |

I thought the idea of deleting posts was that the posts being deleted some way interrupt otherwise smooth and free flowing discussion. Isn't that what warrants a post being deleted? Well big gaps just do that even more.
Embittered people who wish to pretend they're ignoring somebody by constantly reminding themselves that they're ignoring somebody are frankly welcome to do that, but I don't see how it relates to the board as a whole, or what the average user has to be faced with through no option of their own. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
