Yeah this is one I've been intently keeping my eye on. It's showing a heck of a lot of potential and I think a solid story is all that will be needed to pull this one together.
Jam it back in, in the dark.

Sega announced today that the game is coming to the US this fall under the name Valkyria Chronicles.
There's nowhere I can't reach.

Holy crap Hitoshi Sakimoto is composing the music for this. We could have another Dragon Quarter here.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
|
Oh man Sakimoto sounds like he's on top of his game. His music was made for this style of game.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Wow this completely excited all my expectations. I admit that the main driving force behind me buying this game was the music and the fact that I hardly own any games for my PS3.
I actually am not a fan of SRPGs and FFTactics was the only one that I really enjoyed and I've played a lot of them. This game has a lot of the elements that I loved in Tactics, the main one being that the battles are heavily story driven and the characters feel alive rather than just feeling like fighting pawns to be thrown at the enemy. Overall this has many of the traditional RPG elements that tend to be lacking in SRPGs even though it a tactical and mission based game. I was speaking idiomatically.

I really didn't get a good look at Selvaria's tits until tonight. Holy shit!
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
