I thought Alive In Joburg was a pretty interesting short, so to see that a feature length film is being made from the concept is pretty neat.
I am pretty sure I am looking forward to this. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

It's when people are consistently subjected to the dreck that Hollywood churns out every year that movies like District 9, which are entertaining but not exactly high art, get much more praise and acclaim than they normally would if say, every movie was like District 9 and something better came along. But they aren't. Most movies are fucking awful and should never have been made, so District 9 looks even better in comparison.
Either way, I enjoyed it. I was entertained. More importantly: Spoiler:
