I read the comics and I found the movie to be a bit more enjoyable. Certain aspects of it at least. Frankly I just think Alan Moore is a whiny cunt and nobody could EVER do a movie how he would want it. To be fair though, he's probably a little distrustful after what happened to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and From Hell (Which also wasn't too bad).
In the end though, I'd rather watch the movie than read the comics. And no, it's not because I'm some retard who hates reading and likes purty moving pictures instead, I just find the former more entertaining.
