That doesn't change the fact that there are weapons and non-set pieces of armor and other gear that those bosses WILL drop, on top of the pieces needed to craft their armor. So I feel no empathy for them.

I have gone to the last boss of the .5 armor quest (Lord Valthalak in UBRS) with my girlfriend (First on the server to get full heroism), and we wiped several times before BARELY getting it. I went again a few weeks later with a very BWL geared group who brought my girlfriend and I along for experience on the encounter and we still wiped four times. That's how fucking aggravating he is. Everybody has to know their role and do it or it's fucked. Personally, I find the upgrades shitty, but that's just me.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Haha, what? Sword or fist spec rogues can do crazy damage in both pvp and pve settings. Rogues have quite some versatility as far as specs go, and daggers (unless you go combat daggers) aren't the best for dps in raid instances because of the unreliable burst damage.

Things change. Did you know rogues were the primary melee damage dealers? Try putting an epic fury warrior in there against an epic rogue and see who comes out on top.

Mages were once listed as primary ranged damage dealers also. Not quite the same anymore. Seems to have usurped by hunters if you ask me. Tanks were listed as being for "People who would rather TAKE damage". Blizzard is pretty much going to make everybody a dps class and just let everybody sort it out in the end. Seems like the current trend if you ask me, and it will destroy the game.

It doesn't FORCE warriors to be protection. It does if you want your SET armor, but there is plenty of DPS armor that is non-set that will drop in Naxx just like it did in MC and BWL. Just like there is plenty of +damage non-class armor for shaman and druids and so forth. Set armor is usually designed around what that class SHOULD be doing in an instance, doesn't mean they have to. And I mean, it's been that way since Might. Put on full Wrath and you'll have 10% crit (with talents) but near 430 defense.

I got into Alterac Valley for the first time today, at level 51.

One of the first things I did was to help out a warrior being attacked by two Alliance.

I lightning bolted the first guy down (60 something), during which the warrior died. Granted, he was weakened by the war, but still.

Then I nearly soloed the other guy, a level 60 hunter.

The ONLY reason I died is that a 60 rogue stun-locked me, and I died before I could get out.

A level 51. Killed a 60, and nearly soloed another.

I NEVER thought I'd say this, but elemental shamans need a nerf.

The worst part is, though, that I said in the raid chat "whoa, I nearly killed this guy," and when they asked his name and I told them, they were like "nice, he's pretty good."

What I wouldn't kill to get this kind of effectiveness in PVE. =D

Reading this post made me laugh, because I once had a shaman, and as someone who pvps a lot now as a different class, it always pisses me off when the shaman is sitting there shooting spells when they could be healing me (if they REALLY wanted to help). But, then I remembered when I played my shaman, I never thought about healing either.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The way that little roll thing works is that the dice means need, the gold means greed. It's an honest mistake, you should've just told them you were new.

Want to be a shaman but don't want to be an orc, troll, or tauren? Roll a Draenei!

Want to be an elf but not hang out with filthy gnomes? Go horde!

Want to be a paladin but don't want to be a human or dwarf? Play a blood elf!

I like that I'll be able to get paladin buffs in raids. I dislike that I will get to fight shaman outside of duels now.

The bigger deal (to everybody else) is that the Blood Elves cannot be warriors. Until the expansion, every class has at least been able to be a warrior.

Finally, after months of pissing me off, Majorhomo dropped a CHT for me. It was probably the happiest I've been with raiding EVER (outside of when I got my Perdition's Blade).
