Hey guys, about opening the path from the Feywood into Henne Mines: do you have to open the gate from inside the mines (travel from the Henne Mines gate crystal) or open it from the Feywood side? I have beaten Zodiark.

Metal Sphere: I too am going for the Z. Spear in the Henne Mines, the chest itself definitely exists. I got an Elixir from it the one time I've seen it.

Also approximately how long does the entire rare game sidequest take? I might start that tonight (done everything else but the bestiary)

Thanks.

Nice post Saga. We need someone to translate it all!

Any idea why http://www.chopman.com/maniatrix/ff12/image/hene.jpg only shows some of the treasure chests? I notice three of them have additional writing, one of which is the treasure obtained by reading the notes left by a miner.

I can only hope that there is a surefire way to obtaining the Zodiac Spear from the Mines. I don't feel like running to the treasure chest spawn site 1000 times.

How ya doing, buddy?

Yuyu_Zeta: Yeah I've been thinking like that haha. It's something I might do after I've completed everything else and while I'm waiting for the next Final Fantasy heh.

Metal Sphere: Yeah my Level 9 Balthier has the Wyrmhero Blade at the moment, going to start levelling him up soon haha.

How ya doing, buddy?

Yuyu_Zeta: Cyclone becomes a problem at the last part of the battle (last 5 bars or so), best to buy and equip Windbreakers from Rabanstre. (50% wind damage)

I was speaking idiomatically.

The problem is all the chest I opened without equiping the "Diamond Armulet." If I leave Pharos and return, will the chest respawn?
Yes, it will.

Man, I spent 20 minutes cleaning out enemies to try to get the Behemoth King to spawn, to no avail. Got bored and finished clearing out the Abyssal level of the Pharos. Any tips on getting the Behemoth King to spawn?
In those two areas there are exactly 60 enemies. One of the guides on GameFAQs actually lists all of the monsters in those areas so you can just cross them off as you kill them.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I'm thinking to just do the hunts and yazamat, leaveing aside the espers (but i already did some, such as chaos, the one in miriam, bhareim, zestina, and so on).
Do you think it will be possible? Right now i use as weapons: zodiac, masamune and ultima. Do i have chances to kill yazamat?
And what's the easiest way to get the sagittarius?
With the Zodiac Spear, Masamune and Ultima Blade it is definitely possible to kill Yiazmat.

Hell NO. Fomalhaut is so weak vs Yiazmat (Ashe + Fomalhaut = 1500 - 2000 damage). The best 3 weapons vs this rigged bastard is Tournesol, Ragnarok, and Zodiac Spear. And since most of Yiazmat's attacks do area of effect damage, having 3 sword users (melee) is NOT a good idea. You need to have a ranged spellcaster, so I suggest Fran with the Sag Bow.
The character thats got the Tournesol better have strength-based armor and the Power Armlet (Immune:Stop). Beserk/Haste/Bravery/Bubble/Decoy them so that they can land 2-3 hit combos or better. Even an attack of 9999 will only diminish Yiazmat's healthbar by a sinch.

I really wish there was a way to break the damage limit like in FFX, where the summons could do excess of 9999 damage with the Celestial weapons in place.

I've also switched to that Nicropaloa (whatever it's called) accessory, and I casted Remedy on Yiazmat. He's immune to everything except Expose.
I'd have to disagree and say Masamune + Genji Gloves is a better combination than the Ragnarok. I'm not so sure about the Tournesol and Z. Spear though. I've also heard positive things about the Yagyu Darkblade. I personally used Ultima Blade, Ragnarok and Masamune.

LilGreekKid: I ended up chaining 200 dogs just to get 4 Hell's Gate Flames. Don't give up!

SOLDIER_2825: An easy way to do it is have 2 characters Decoying and Reversing one character while that one character is attacked. (Hastega just as you enter the area, perhaps use the main character to Hastega again when it wears off) Eventually Omega will probably Berserk the attacker making your job even easier (makes the character stronger and faster) There shouldn't be any reason to cure, either a person is alive and being healed by Omega or Decoy/Reverse has worn off and the other 2 characters are reviving each other while the main character uses Decoy/Reverse on him/herself. Good luck!

Lionking-Cyan: You want to cast Reverse and Decoy on one person only, Decoy makes it so Omega will only target that person and reverse means all hit points that would normally be lost are gained (you are healed instead of attacked). Set the other two characters to continually cast Decoy and Reverse on your tank and attack while they're not doing that, have your tank cast Hastega when required, I had all three characters use the Bubble Belt accessory

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
