I just saw this and the ending was interesting. Though I can pretty much assume what will happen next.

Spoiler:
Okay, so the kid jumps and his brother is the one that ends up flying. But the kid can't die this early. So obviously he's going to live. He also commented on hovering when waking. So I expect him to end up either hovering off the ground or launching into the air too. He'll escape death and both brothers will be able to fly somehow.

Since he kept saying they were so close it wouldn't be that far of a stretch, right? But hey, I could be wrong and they could kill him in the second episode. Or his brother comes to the rescue. ;|

That cheerleader must be pretty powerfull if she can regenerate from the state she was in at the end of the last episode. For a moment I thought she actually died. I mean, she is pretty cut open there..

Even though they didn't show much of syler it looks like he's far more advanced than anyone else.
Spoiler:
He was researching the people with special abilities as well. He of course looked to have telekinesis by the way he was going to make the woman shoot herself but then the cop shot him and got back up. He could have the same recovery powers as the girl, and he also flew away or atleast thats how they made it seem. Maybe he'll have the ability to control time as well o_0.

Spoiler:
I was thinking he had alot of the Heroe's powers. From the previous episodes it looks like he consumes brains or organs. In this episode it showed that he knew about more people with powers than the professor did. Since he's been killing lots of people all across America maybe he's collecting the powers of people. Which is why he was able to regenrate after all those bullets and jump away/fly. That would put all the heroes in great danger. Because he'll want to go for them and use their powers. ;|

I'm really starting to believe in the idea that Niki has the whole Hulk thing going on. She can friggin tear people in half! Only difference is she doesn't turn green, doesn't grow 3 times her size, and doesn't lose complete control of herself.

Also, anyone have any idea what that marking was on her back..?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Alright 3 things.

Spoiler:

1) So the kid has powers like everyone assumed he was going to get. But I don't really understand what his power is. Does he makes connections or something? Or is he Psychic too maybe?

2) Both the radioactive guy and the mind reader had the same symbols forming on their shoulders. Just not as complete as Niki's. Does this mean the more a heroe's power develops the more complete this symbol becomes? Sort of like a brand mark.. Or could it be a way for someone to track them? ;|

3) I'm guessing the radioactive guy is the nuke that goes off in New York. Maybe someone pisses him off or makes him go beserk. That or they do something to him that sets him off.

Edit: Also lol @ Hiro getting a blonde girl in preview.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Oh yeah, I guess that makes sense since he somehow fixed a harddrive on his own in the beggining of the series. Well, I think it was a harddrive. Maybe my memory is faulty.

Spoiler:
I'm really hoping next week we see Peter Petrelli fighting Sylar. It would be really cool to see Sylar get attacked by his own powers.

In the preview he's with Claire when she's being chased.. There could be a chance, right?

Though I guess that's asking for alot from a person who probably has very little understanding or control over it.

EDIT:

Something I forgot to say.

Spoiler:
After thinking about the episode this morning I completely forgot something about Hiro. Didn't future Hiro warn Peter he could cause another time rift by meeting him? (My memory isn't that good) If he did then this episode must of been the first time rift. He went far too back into the past. She's still dead and he hasn't returned to the 'present' yet. His friend is still waiting for him in the diner. But Hiro is in her bday picture now. He wasn't before. This leads me to believe he has caused a rift in time and cant save her.

Man am I disapointed. I was really expecting a good battle between Sylar and Peter. I mean come on, he could of used Sylar's powers being that close to him.

But all he ended up using was Claire's. Dammit.

Peter wont be arrested for long though. All Claire or her father has to do is come forward and say he helped them. That and when they take a sample of Peter's blood they'll see it's his own and not the cheerleader's.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Why do I get the feeling this surprise ending NBC claimed will happen is the nuke going off in New York?

Also, what if the Hero that dies is just Isaac dieing like future him did? Though I guess if Sylar is captured that's not possible..

Edit: Dunno what I was smoking when I wrote this post but I had to change Hiro back to Hero. Damn typos. ._.

Wow, very good episode. Wasn't really expecting that ending.

Spoiler:
I was expecting the nuclear guy to go boom, not Peter. I really like Peter so I hope that it either does not happen or that if it does, as unlikely as it is, that he survives. But I don't see how anyone, gifted or not, could survive their own body exploding like a nuclear bomb.

Also, did Peter jump through time like Hiro or was this another premonition like he had when he dreamed about his brother in the previous episode? It really doesn't look like a Hiro time jump. So does Peter have more than one power or some kind of link to hsi brother like it has been sugested? His brother is ALWAYS there when he does this.

I think it has more to do with Hiro's character. He is pretty much your stereotypical nerdy, video game playing, comic book reading, sci-fi obsessed young adult. That whole bit with his sword fits with that and is something he would probably try to do. I mean, have you read his blog? Everything is Final Fantasy or Chrono trigger to him.

Sylar's power is to figure out what is broken or how things tick, right? So once he figured out how the room worked he was able to bypass the security when Eden came in.

Wait.. didn't someone say this already?

Okay so.. the newer comic showed that the two marks on some of the heroes necks are nothing but a way for Bennet, and whatever organization he belongs to, to track them.

Still waiting to find out what that dna symbol means. :\

^ Yeah, it's probably something like that, I just thought the mention was cool.

My other question is... Originally, when Suresh found Sylar, he didn't really seem to have a power. After he killed the telekinesis guy [Brian, I think?] he 'gained' his power... But all the other 'murders' so far, he's cut out the person's brain. To see what makes them 'tick'. Do we know what he does to gain the powers yet?
No, but his original power is to see how things tick. Using that he was able to get the telekinesis somehow. Probably cut him open too using a knife of some sort. Afterwards he just used his newly gained power to cut everyone else open to study.

Peter cant die. If Sylar were to steal Peter's powers he would become invincible. Even if you had a hero who could beat Sylar the guy would just absorb the hero's ability and kill him.

I expect there to be a fight between them, or atleast Peter giving Sylar more resistance than he's use to. Peter will recieve his scar and probably escape.. since I doubt Sylar will be killed off.

You know, it's really annoying how they seem to put all this important information in the online comic. Wireless has appeared, what, twice in the show? Neither time even being given a name or much of a hint to her power. What did she do to stop the rigging of the election?

I was guessing that he recruited Micah to keep Bennet, Parkman, and Sprague from being able to destroy the tracking system. Then again, that raises the question as to why they haven't moved something that important out of NYC to avoid the explosion.
She sent you (and others) emails, text messages, and so on asking to help her stop the rigging. So at 9 am every Tuesday (I think?) she had everyone enter a portal she opened and you helped her destroy the rigging system.

I gave it a try and it was a little fun. Though Micah just put a huge dent in her (and our) plan. He can just change the votes with a touch of his hand. :/

It's the whole Heroes 360 thing they were advertising awile ago. It's a way to make the audience more involved in the show.

You've got her, Bennet, Claire's myspace, Hiro's blog, Mohinder putting his father's website back up, Primatech's website and so on.

But anyways, what I dont get is the whole Sylar and Isaac thing. Okay, sure Isaac said he showed how to stop Sylar but if Sylar can now see the future doesn't that make it a bit pointless? Everytime someone tries to kill him he'll most likely see it coming and will stop it accordingly.

Oh, and I like how Linderman shows what Peter could kind of become. Since his younger self was much like Peter and as you can see.. Linderman has changed greatly from that young boy who didn't want to kill Au Co. I guess we also know why Papa Petrelli didn't like Peter much. Peter reminded him too much of Linderman and Nathan reminded him of himself.

I'm guessing Mrs. Petrelli was one of Linderman's buddies. Since in the comic Linderman comes back and apologizes to Papa Petrelli, and asks him to be his partner iirc. So if Mrs. Petrelli does have powers it wouldn't be hard to see her joining Linderman too..

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well according to the latest comic Sylar was the original bomb. Hiro tried to stop him but when he stabbed Sylar he just regenerated and still went boom.

So I guess in the original time line he got Claire's and Sprague's powers and went nuclear.

Hiro went back to get Peter to save the cheerleader.. but it looks like that still didn't change the future. Instead of Sylar going boom it's Peter. Looks like the show is really starting to stress that you cant change some major parts of the future..

Um, future Hiro says that he TRIED to kill Sylar but could not because he just regened. That's why he went back to have the cheerleader saved.

I think the reason so many are confusing themselves is because to future Hiro nothing has changed. He just got back to the future in that episode and has not noticed anything yet. But it DID change, just slightly thanks to him changing the past by having claire saved. So Future Hiro is stating things that he knows based on his experiences of the old timeline but the new timeline contradicts him because things changed slightly.

Timeline 1 : Sylar is the bomb, Hiro tries to kill him but Sylar regens. Hiro tracks all the major events and decides that to change the way things are he must go back and save the cheerleader. Then Sylar can be killed.

Hiro goes back to the past and the cheerleader is saved.

Timeline 2: Future Hiro has just returned but finds out nothing has changed to him. But things have changed. Peter is the bomb, Hiro never tried to kill Sylar, Claire is alive and her death was faked. When Peter went boom it was blamed on Sylar by Nathan.

Timeline 3: What will happen in the following episodes if Sylar and the bomb is stopped. But who knows if it can really be stopped.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

No, I mean that Future Hiro said [and the comic says] that Present Hiro kills Sylar, or is supposed to.

Anyway, it makes way more sense if you look at is as being different timelines, and not as actual time travel. About Sylar being the bomb... We know that he never was, it was Peter all along. Saying it was Sylar was just a cover up to protect Peter. [Though, it's possible that Future Hiro is from a different timeline where Sylar WAS the bomb, we'll never know.]

I don't know, time travel has always been a really confusing thing to grasp. :P I guess we'll find out what happens tonight, and next week. I hope so, anyway.
Um, Sylar was the bomb. Again, it changed to Peter being the bomb after Claire was saved.

Look, it's simple to confirm this too. There wouldn't of been a painting of Hiro stabbing a sword through Sylar or the comic showing Sylar still going off after Hiro stabs him if Sylar wasn't the bomb originally.

If Sylar wasn't the bomb then Hiro never had a reason to go back and save Claire. Sylar WAS the bomb, then Hiro went back and changed the future by having Claire saved. But Hiro was never changed with it. The future changed in a way Hiro didn't expect. Hiro is not from another timeline, he just didn't change with it.

The comic says Hiro tried to kill Sylar when he was going nuclear but failed. Why did he fail? Because Sylar regened after the attack. So Hiro goes back into the past and tells Peter to save Claire. Hiro then returns to the future and finds nothing has changed to him. That's all the comic says. Then when you watch the show it tells you things have changed, claire is alive, peter is the bomb instead, and sylar was blamed for it. But Hiro doesn't know this because he just got back and wasn't changed along with the timeline.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Well I had an interesting wake up call this morning.

I hear the phone ringing and it wakes me up. I get up to answer it and I hear Nathan's voice. Nathan's campaign called me asking to vote for him and go to his website. I thought I was having a dream still or something. >_>
