I would rather not have humanity's future generations be dependant on the whim of what's fashionable at the time.
It's bad enough with subjecting our pets to being fashion accessories. We dont need people editing their babies to be the popular choice for that year. You'd have no variety or uniqueness. I can just see it now. This year, red hair is in and blue eyes are out! All you pregnant ladies out there have to give your baby red hair if you want to be IN! Don't be last years news! Jam it back in, in the dark.
