That just has to do with BLU-RAY and HD-DVD movies. You do not have to worry about HDCP with the gaming portion of your PS3.
One of the many reasons why I hate the DRM bullshit on both formats. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

I really have to wonder if anyone will even buy those ebayed PS3s. So many tried doing that in Japan and it hasn't been going so well. The same could happen over here..

I heard FFXI wont work on the PS3. But only because of how it uses the PS2 harddrive. Which makes it incompatible with the PS3. Though, SE or Sony are supose to fix that..
