Just what the fuck is that supposed to mean? I mean you’ll never know where you stand with her if you don’t follow that sort of thing up. It’s either YES or NO (or leaning towards one way or the other), and for your own peace of mind it’d be wise to get clarification. If she was able to tell you to your face, then you’d know the answer to that first question.
Anyway, it sounds like you might have a fight on your hands. Sounds like you’re planning to get more involved, which is good because you could just as easily have decided to put it all in the too hard basket and walk away. Ignore the doubters and give it your very best effort -then you won’t be disappointed no matter what the outcome is.
