What a loser, and what horrible writing.
Spoiler:
That's because Boone figured he would have been able to get back to land by himself and he was in much less need of help than the other woman was. He was just angry because the saving of his life ended in the death of someone else who seemed to need the help more.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Spoiler:
That is what I had thought at first. But, I found Sun very hard to read during this episode, so I still have my doubts about whether of not she was telling Jin the truth or not.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Ugh, unsuccesful completion of a surgery is far from murder.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

It's not too far fetched to believe that the first failure of the system could have brought down the plane and left the bunker intact. I would assume that the bunker would have built out of concrete instead of using anything metallic, if they knew about the magnetic fields before hand and that would have prevented the collapse of the bunker when the 'device' discharged it's extra electromagnetic force and sent things flying. If

All that would need to happen would need to happen would be for the 'device' to set off an enormous electromagnetic pulse when it was discharged, thus frying the electrical system of the plane flying over head, causing it to depressurize, rip in half and crash into the ocean. An electromagnetic pulse would have no affect on Desmond or anyone else within the vicinity.

I was speaking idiomatically.

it's been a while since Lost has made me smile.
I know how you feel. It probably wasn't the shows intention, but I must have laughed for five minutes when that meteor landed on his restaurant. It was so completely ridiculous.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread yet, but Lost now has a definite end in sight.

There was an article in today's paper about the duration of Lost. There will be three more season, with the season finale being in spring 2010. They will be shortened seasons, lasting only 16 episodes and airing uniterrupted from February to May. I guess this is to appease all of the people who hated the months of gaps between new episodes.

So, what do you guys think of Lost now having a definite timetable. Will it help set the plot in a definite direction now, as opposed to the seemingly aimless wandering that it has been for most of the season? Or will it help foster better discussion, now that we know that there is a countdown put on the episodes?
