As much as I dislike Avril Lavigne, you misinterpreted that quotation. She is saying that none of the songs co-written by Chantal on her second cd were any good. Because of this, Chantal was not allowed to collaborate on Avril's newest. She did not write anything for and thus, her name was not included on the newest record.

She never said that she wanted her name on the album. Well, technically I suppose she did. She said that she wanted to take part in the creative process of the album, but her attempts to join in on the song writing were denied and hence her right to be named on the CD were also denied. I still think you're misreading the quotation.
