I've grown out of a lot of things that I used to think were fun.
Anime: I've watched maybe a season of three different series in the last three years. The last of them being Azumanga Daioh. (how can you deny that!?) Anime, for the most part, just started feeling... immature.
Games: I used to play a lot of Final Fantasy growing up. Now it's somewhat painstaking to pick up a controller and play again. It's just no fun by myself anymore. It's like this with most games now. I've sorted through ALL of my games and probably got rid of 70% of them because I know I'll never play them. I've kept and bought more multiplayer games now because I want to share with friends.
Depression: What kid hasn't gone through this. I used to be depressed all the time because I never had a girlfriend or knew what I wanted to do with my life. Now, I'm kinda glad that I haven't hitched up with anyone yet because I value my freedom a little more than I used to. I'm also working my butt off to create my own company. Yay for me.
All in all, I attribute most of this due to getting jobs and meeting new people. Playing games isn't much fun anymore with no one around, and most girls don't really care for video games anyways.
How ya doing, buddy?
