A suggestion would be to set your home computers with a static IP. They should need to be dynamically set since those computers probably aren't going anywhere. (ie: 192.168.1.2 for your comp, 192.168.1.3 for your dads, etc)
Things that do re/disconnect from your network (like a laptop or your PS3) should be given a range of IPs to work with. (192.168.1.100 and up.) That should alleviate the IP issues. Try releasing and renewing the network settings on your router within the web interface for the DNS stuff. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
