You're going to have to give up specific details of your current hardware (motherboard model, RAM type) before we can really help you. If the Celeron D was an upgrade, then I'm curious about that you upgraded from! :| Jam it back in, in the dark. |

For a CPU, I'd recommend the E6300 Core2 Duo CPU. However, you need to find out if your motherboard is compatible with this chip. It is Socket 775, but that doesn't mean it will work with your board. (Look for "Conroe" compatibility.) There's nowhere I can't reach. |
