When I had my wisdom teeth out they were still inside my gums so they had to cut open my gums, break the teeth and suck the pieces out through a tube. I wasn't asleep but I was pretty doped up for most of the experience. And then I couldn't eat for 2 days
 For what it's worth, I am ALWAYS scared at the Dentists office, even for a routine cleaning. I'm not scared like a phobia or anything I'm just uneasy and unsettled for whatever reason. Probably I remember all the painful things that I've gone through there. Jam it back in, in the dark.  Baaah~
