I can't stand it when bikers do that and I'm not a very good driver to begin with, I'm terrible at safely compensating for space! On more then one occasion I've had a biker just drift in front of my car at the last second without looking assuming nothing would get in their way. It even happens on roads with a bike lane, wide enough for at the very least 2 bikers and it's like it doesn't exist, the road is theirs.
