I'm not entirely sure why, but my parents have always been big on the family togetherness at dinner time. All five of us have to cram ourselves around this tiny little table and eat while constantly hitting each other with our elbows. There are times when we'll have a TV dinner and there are times when we don't eat together because we're busy. Mostly it's the table though.
