There are plenty of games that this has happened to me with. Metal Gear Solid, Lunar, Legend of Dragoon, all the old Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger, blah blah blah. I used to use guides for everything!

I won't let it happen with new Final Fantasy games, though. I only let myself watch the debut trailer, then I avoid everything completely. I've done this sense VIII and it makes the story so much more involving - except XII... I don't think anything could've picked that story up out of the mess it was already in.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
