I'm guessing your song is one of those. How about you look the individual tracks up in YouTube and when you find the one that sounds like the song you're thinking of, bob is you proverbial uncle.

And just as a word of advice, telling an admin of a site how he should behave is pretty idiotic. See the rules of how to behave are set and enforced by, oh yes, the admins and moderators.

Point (a) I concede, though I doubt he's done a fairly thorough search. I'd imagine there's wikis or sites out there with more detailed information on this particular series available. But let's allow for a thorough search to have been conducted, this guy has the TV show and a sound sample to work from, where as we have "There was a song in an episode at some point" to go on. Exactly how are we to fair better than a thorough search? I will also say that, given there's 5 songs listed on the soundtrack I linked, at least one of them is not an OP or ED (unless one episode was so good it warranted two OPs or two EDs).

On point (b) though, care to point out where in this he says he's after an instrumental track:

I'm not familiar with the anime, no, but I do listen to J-Pop (often where these songs come from), so there might be a chance I recognised it upon hearing it, which I don't as it happens. My point there being that he should have really posted a link to a clip like you did though Saka.

However, I will admit I was being a bit of an arsehole (not going to deny that), but then because I came to the same conclusion about the guy as Crash doesn't mean I did so because Crash did.

Any way, in closing, I would say from the sounds of that clip that it could just be a bit of instrumental stuff written for that little scene (as you get in various TV shows). However, good luck finding the song, but I can't help.
