I was probably the only person I know who wasn't disappointed. I mean, Christ on a bike, have you seen anything they've put out over the last few years? The movie was surprisingly good.

I think the trippiest moment during the whole thing was when Homer and marge were snowed in inside the house and all the animals started coming in. I figured it had to be a drug trip or something, like Homer was unconscious beneath the snow.

And then the Doe covered up Bambi's eyes...classic.

And as if that weren't enough, there was a kid behind me asking, "Mommy, why are they doing that? Mommy?"

Umm I wasn't disappointed at all. Actually, I am contemplating going see it again. However, all the hype is only partly justified. Of course, if you compare it with the recent seasons (especially 13+), it's a major achievement. You might even think that they purposely fucked up the last few seasons to make the movie look like a masterpiece of animated movie history.
