I don´t hate my job - really. But since you want everyone to contribute I will tell you a tale about my former superior, our Ex - Head of Marketing.
Normally I don´t use any of my talents in video editing and screendesign on my job - so in 2003 when we went on an important fair for the first time a movie for our booth had to be made - I cried "here! here!". Since this was an additional task I invested some overtime in it. Unpaid overtime I might add.
After the fair my superior asked me to come to one of the meeting rooms with me so we could to for a few minutes. Instead of a Thank You or something like this he complained that everything took too long, that he didn´t have enough chances to check my work before it went to the booth, that he could have asked our advertising agency to realize it (sure, one week before the fair) and in the end he told me to look for a Time Management seminar.
Man - I was so damn pissed. When I chatted with our PR manager about the talk I just had, she was pretty speechless, too. Thank god this guy is no longer working for us and my new superior appreciates such efforts.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
