And yes it is just my opinion.
I know a lot of people would also want to squeeze Animal Crossing onto that list.

Though I would usually agree that the DS lineup is clearly superior, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror has totally changed my opinion of the PSP. Great game.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I bought the Metal Slug for GBA, not bad, but it's a shame that the bosses take way too long to kill on Hard mode.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Interesting, because PSM gave it a 8.0. According to them, the game has uneven AI and generic characters. Still, the rest is good, so I'll probably check this game out because I like Advance Wars.

Ratchet and Clank for the PSP? Sweeeet.

Usually there's always some sort of gimmick that Ratchet and Clank play with Jak and Daxter. They poke fun at each other and advertise their games, etc. But this time, not so much.

For one, you'd expect, after seeing Daxter, Clank to get his own game. But no, this game's apparently going back to its roots before Ratchet: Deadlocked. No biggie though. The two games do have something in common though -- they're being developed by studios NOT over their original creation. Naughty Dog did not develop Daxter, and Insomniac is letting High Impact handle the heavy load.

But like Blizzard's former employees, High Impact's roster consists of many former Insomniac employees who've worked on previous Ratchet and Clank titles.

I'm pretty much stoked. I've been waiting for this news, and now I'm waiting on a Sly Cooper PSP game. Rock on!
I'm personally not all that excited. I mean Daxter for PSP was fun, but very short at around 5-6 hours. If Ratchet PSP is anything like it, it'll be a fun rental but nothing more.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I assume that you're also including the basic 32mb mem card and AC adapter? Well, brand new, this sells for around $250, so I guess if you toss in the 4 games, it's a reasonably good deal for everyone assuming its in really good condition.

As mentionned in the previous post, hopefully you haven't updated your firmware too much as the buyer will probably want to play around with all the homebrew stuff. I still would try to sell it for over $200 with the games though, as Lumines & Wipeout Pure may be old but are still two of the best on the system.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Argh, there's going to be a Death Jr. 2 and Coded Arms sequel on PSP... Original IPs or not, these games sucked.

Gamespot has a new feature discussing the PSP:
http://www.gamespot.com/features/6152212/index.html

It's an embarrassment in my opinion, as most of them have clearly not been following with the latest PSP games. They continue to mention Lumines, Lumines, Lumines, and Burnout Legends gets way too much credit. X-men Legends 2 was just as good a port as Burnout Legends.

Worst for me though, is that there is no mention of what is in my opinion the best PSP game available, Syphon Filter.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

New PSP in 2007?

http://www.gametab.com/news/665363/

It makes sense that the PSP should receive a massive redesign overhaul, but man, this ain't going to help PSP sales this Christmas.

I recall the difference in playing X-men Legends 2, the real umd and on the memory stick. Load times that were normally like 30 seconds would become 2-3 seconds when played from the memory stick...

It could also benefit from a better d-pad and a more comfortable nub placement. There's plenty of other things, but to me, the PSP is far from perfect.

How ya doing, buddy?

Well, apparently the whole thing is still just speculation...

Gamespot

Nevertheless, I think it's safe to assume that a PSP redesign is in the works. Nintendo has proven time and time again that re-releasing the system can boost sales.
