Rock Band: Soon to be available for thirty billion Euros
Even with Guitar Hero III coming down the tracks, logical progression on the Guitar Hero saga lead us to Rock Band. Video from GameSpot found its way to YouTube. Witness:
"(Don't Fear) The Reaper" - Blue Öyster Cult "In Bloom" - Nirvana "Main Offender" - The Hives "Mississippi Queen" - Mountain "Paranoid" - Black Sabbath "Rockaway Beach" - The Ramones "Say It Ain't So" - Weezer "Suffragette City" - David Bowie "Won't Get Fooled Again" - The Who (and maybe "Welcome to the Jungle" - Guns 'N Roses) Thankfully, it seems as though you won't need 3 other people to play this game, but I'm curious to see what they decide to do. Here's hoping for online, but I'm not holding my breath. (I wonder if they'll have a cowbell add-on for (Don't Fear) The Reaper...chuckle, snort.) Apparently I'll need a next-gen console for this, as they've only confirmed 360 and PS3 releases. Jam it back in, in the dark.

It'll probably cost ~$200 total between 4 people for the set. Assuming everything costs the same as usual musical video game equipment.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Interesting. All I have to do is go back to the main menu and use whichever instrument I want to navigate the menus. This is with both the guitar and the drums connected on the PS2 version.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
