Former US President Gerald Ford dies at the age of 93

Breaking news; stand by for links.

Gerald Rudolph Ford, Jr. was the 38th President of the United States, coming after Richard Nixon (being appointed in the wake of Nixon's resignation) and coming before Jimmy Carter.

As of midnight EST December 27, not much on MSNBC's article.
Here's a better one.

On CNN, some guy Anderson Cooper is talking to called him "the last moderate Republican".

Jam it back in, in the dark.

He did get past Ronald Reagan:

He was also the longest-lived United States president ever, having surpassed Ronald Reagan's record on November 12, 2006.

I'm really unsure how to react to this one since I never really paid much attention to his tenure as President.
Ford tends to rank towards the back of the pack of presidents. His tenure saw the end of the Vietnam War, and the Cold War started to turn thanks to the Helsinki Accords, which he and the US Government signed. He was mostly lambasted for pardoning Richard Nixon, and the Democratic Congress didn't help.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
