How 'bout that Steve McNair, huh? More or less proved my vague point.

Additional Spam:
Why did the Bears just take the timeout? Both of these coaches suck.

OVERTIME IN CHICAGO

Matt Hasselbeck: "WE WANT THE BALL, BUT I'M NOT SURE WE'RE GONNA SCORE."

When is the NFL going to adopt the college football overtime system?

P.S. Bears win

Additional Spam:
My sister is trying to tell me that, in the event that someone commits a fair catch, then kicks the ball the ball through the uprights, that kicker's team gets four points.

O_o

Additional Spam:
Pats behind the Chargers 10-14 at halftime, but the Pats had a great drive and might have some momentum going into the next half.

I like how I'm the only person who cares right now.

Additional Spam:
PATS WIN! WIDE RIGHT! LACES OUT!

How ya doing, buddy?

What a ridiculous pair of AFC games. All field-goals in IND@BAL, just ugly play all-around in NE@SD. Of course, this AFC Championship will be the NFL's kin to Red Sox-Yankees in Game 7 of the ALCS.

I already feel like the Bears have lost the NFC Championship.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I still vote for Pats-Saints, or Colts-Saints.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

So basically, what you're saying is: whoever wins the AFC wins the Super Bowl.

How ya doing, buddy?

I formatted my computer but failed to retain by bracket, so you'll just have to imagine the rest. Not that anyone cared.

Anyway, ESPN's head NFL honchos, Len Pasquerelli and John Clayton, have picked the Colts and Bears for their Super Bowl matchup, leading me to bring up again my list of what would be the most popular Super Bowl matchups.
  1. New England-New Orleans (America's Team 2001 vs. America's Team 2006)
  2. Indianapolis-New Orleans (Peyton Manning first Super Bowl is against his dad's old team)
  3. New England-Chicago (Super Bowl XX rematch)
  4. Indianapolis-Chicago (#2 AFC offense vs. #1 NFC defense, points)

Alright, now that I'm a little calmer...

The Pats and Colts both had gifts in this game (Caldwell wide open a couple of times, the catch in the end-zone where the guy was pushed out), but once the game got down to 3 minutes and the Colts had the ball I knew it was over. Brady just had to throw a pick and that would do it OH HEY LOOK WHAT HAPPENED. I can imagine every Patriots fan thinking to themselves when they got possession in the last minute, "This looks familiar..." I wrote the Patriots off after the Colts scored.

There's no way anyone can hang this loss on Tom Brady...he did everything he could to keep the Patriots in this one but the bad wide receiving and the aging and depthless defense ultimately did the trick. They had the Colts so many times in this game and they just let them stick around.

The Colts are now guaranteed to win the Super Bowl; there's no way the NFL will let the Bears, led by Rex Grossman, Mr. "I didn't give 100%," beat Mr. "I'm the best quarterback in the NFL so I should win a Super Bowl." The first-black-coach-in-the-Super-Bowl angle has no relevance now...how about the first black quarterback to WIN a Super Bowl?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
